Old man dies of COVID-19 in Jhapa

Kathmandu - An elderly person in the district has died of coronavirus infection last night. A 77-year-old man of Jhapa Rural municipality-6 died of the infection.

According to Rural Municipality Health section Chief Laxman BK, he was tested for COVID-19 infection. Though, he died last night, his lab report was received this morning. BK further said that the dead body is buried in local community forest area by Nepali Army. It is stated that he had complications in respiratory system for long.
