Nyalam County in China provides biggest support to Sindhupalchowk
Kathmandu - The Nyalam County in Tibet Autonomous Region of China has provided the biggest support to Sindhupalchowk district so far. The support in the form of medical appliances is provided to step up the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic in the district, said CDO of Sindhupalchowk, Umesh Kumar Dhakal.
The medical support from Nyalam county was handed over to the District Administration Office Sindhupalchowk at local Friendship Bridge today. The goods include 2,800 set of PPEs, 5,000 set of medical hats and shoes cover and 2,000 set of gloves. Likewise, 2,000 set of isolation masks, 2,000 set of N95 masks and 5,000 set of medical masks would be provided to the District Administration Office, Sindhupalchowk.
Moreover, 2,000 set of PCR reagent would be distributed on Wednesday. CDO Dhakal shared that it would take a day or two to sanitize the medical goods once handed over by the Chinese side. The medical goods would be stored in the District Emergency Response Operation Centre, Chautara in the district.
