State Chiefs' Bakar Eid Greetings

Kathmandu - Chief of Gandaki State Amik Sherchan has extended best wishes to all Nepalis living in the country and abroad on the occasion of Bakar Eid, the second big festival of the Islam community. On the occasion, State Chief Sherchan viewed the ethnic, religious and cultural diversity has fostered mutual tolerance, harmony and national unity. He wished the festival further promoted these values.

Similarly, State-1 Chief, Somnath Pyasi, has given best wishes message on the occasion of the Bakar Eid festival today. He wished peace, prosperity, good health, happiness and longevity to all sisters and brothers from Nepali Muslim community living the country abroad.

Festivals are the symbols of national unity, he said, urging the Muslim brothers and sisters to observe the festival staying indoors in view of COVID-19 pandemic. He further wished the Eid festival helped foster tolerance, unity and harmony among all.
