Nepali Model Swing in Slingshot Style

The Cliff Pvt. Ltd., which is preparing to operate the world's second tallest bungee, has made Nepal's tallest and model swing (ping) in its own resort premises.

The height of the bridge connecting Kushma and Balewa of Baglung is 228 meters and the height of swing is 248 meters above the river. The swing, which is 12 meters high from the ground, is different from the swing made so far in Nepal.

It is built in the style of a slingshot. Normally, the swing must be shaken by others, but in this type of swing when the persons its on it, the machine pulls it from behind to leave the swing to go in the air.

Karki informed that high vigilance of security precautions will be taken in the construction. Karki said that high quality ropes which are used for adventure sports like rock climbing is used in the swing.

Swing was designed by an Indian engineer Jagmohan Jangra and was constructed based on his technical suggestion. The company, which has built the world's tallest swing and sky cycling, plans to develop the area as an adventure hub adding other activities in the future, said Chairman Raju Karki.
