UML leadership suggested projecting a leader as future PM, and face election

Kathmandu - Central members of the CPN-UML speaking in the ongoing central committee meeting have suggested the party leadership to project a leader of the party as the next prime minister and go for elections. 

Before going for the elections of the House of Representatives and of State Assembly, the central members said the name of future PM could be proposed from the party. 

Secretary Pradip Gyawali informed that the meeting formed eight groups and held discussion on the political report presented by the party Chairman KP Sharma Oli. 

The groups suggested the party playing a leading role in national politics by integrating the left, patriotic and progressive forces. The achievements the party made despite odds were glorious, however, review of the weaknesses during election was imperative, they added. 

Similarly, the groups suggested for concrete plan, policy and allocation of responsibility to secure majority of votes in the coming elections. 

The meeting begun from Friday will conclude Sunday after the party Chairman furnishes response to the queries and comments on his political reports.
