Woman dies in Pyuthan quarantine

Kathmandu - A woman staying under quarantine of Bijuli Janata Secondary School in Yerawati Rural Municipality-6 died today. The District Police Office’s Information Office Bishnu Prasad Poudel confirmed that 26 years old woman from Gahatera village in Mallarani Rural Municipality-4 passed away.

Police said that she was a brain tumor patient in India for long. Currently, the police personnel have reached the scene to take further steps on the corpse. The woman along with her husband, junior brother and children had come to Nepal last week and were kept in a single room of the quarantine, according to Health Section Chief of the rural municipality Ram Maya Gurung. Gurung said that RDT tests of the five members of the family are being done.
