Constitution amendment bill on new map to be tabled at parliament

Kathmandu - The government has decided to table the bill related to constitution amendment incorporating Nepal’s new geo-political map and national emblem at the Federal Parliament.

At a press conference organized at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Minister for Finance and Communications and Information Technology, Dr Yubaraj Khatiwada shared that a cabinet meeting held this morning took the decision to amend the issue related to schedule-3 of the Nepal Constitution.

The government on May 18 had decided to issue a new map of the country and with this the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation has already issued new map of the country by incorporating Limpiyadhura, Gunji, Navi and Kuti areas on May 20.
