Muktinath Development Bank's support to flood victims

Kathmandu - The Muktinath Development Bank has provided Rs 500 thousand for the support of the flood-affected people. 

The national-level bank handed over the assistance to the Development Bankers' Association for providing it to the flood victims. The bank stated that this assistance was part of its corporate social responsibility. 

The Association had taken initiatives for and urged various banks for distributing relief materials to the people of the districts which were ravaged by flooding in mid-August. 

Association president Bharat Raj Dhakal said that they would soon hand over the Rs 3.2 million that has been collected so far through various financial institutions to the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI).
