No new coronavirus infection detected recently: Health Ministry

Kathmandu - No new coronavirus infection case has been detected recently, according to the Ministry of Health and Population. The information was shared at the regular press conference organised by the Ministry. So far, swabs of 2,895 suspected people across the country have been tested, said the Ministry's Spokesperson Dr Bikash Devkota.

Likewise, 7,940 suspected people have been quarantined and 117 (18 in the Kathmandu Valley and 99 outside the Valley) kept in isolation. Five thousand rapid diagnostic test kits have been distributed each to the seven states, he said. Similarly, swabs of 66 suspected people in Kailali and Kanchanpur districts have been tested and all results have been negative for the infection, said the Ministry.
