36 individuals under quarantine return home in Kaski

Kathmandu - A total of 36 people staying in quarantine in Kaski district have returned home by completing their stay after none of them tested positive for COVID-19. Those living under quarantine had returned from Qatar, India, Bangladesh and other countries following the coronavirus spread. With this, all quarantines in Kaski district are cleared. Director at Gandaki State Health Directorate Dr Binod Bindu Sharma said they were sent back to their homes as they did not develop any symptoms for coronavirus during their 14-day stay in quarantine.

Of them, 16 were kept in an agriculture training centre of Malepatan and 20 in Rupa rural municipality. Dr Sharma shared that those individuals have been asked to stay in home quarantine for one more week. Likewise, none of the individuals living in home quarantine in Annapurna rural municipality has developed any symptom of coronavirus. As per the reports, specimen of 251 people were tested in the state and only two were tested positive for coronavirus while reports of 122 individuals are awaited, the Health Directorate said.
