Bagmati establishes COVID-19 crisis management centre

Kathmandu - The Bagmati State has decided to establish COVID-19 Crisis Management Centre under the convenorship of chief minister Dormani Poudel. The centre would be managed via a committee to be chaired by chief minister at the state. A meeting held today decided to establish the centre to adopt necessary policies and prepare the action plan to combat the COVID-19 outbreak. The committee comprises state ministers Shalikram Jammkattel, Kailash Dhungel, Arun Nepal, Yuvraj Dulal, chief secretary at the state Toyam Ray,

Hetauda Sub-metropolitan city mayor Hari Bahadur Mahat, secretaries at the Ministries, chiefs of Nepal Army, Nepal Police National Investigation Department at the state. The member-secretary at the committee is secretary at the office of chief minister and council of ministers. The committee has also made work division among the members so that the combating against deadly pandemic would be easier after forging coordination among the bodies concerned.
