Govt. suspends int’l flights till April 15

Kathmandu - Amid fears of coronavirus spread, the government has suspended all the international flights to and from Nepal till April 15, according to Narayan Prasad Bidari, a Secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers. A meeting of the COVID-19 Infection, Prevention and Control High-Level Coordination Committee held today in Singha Durbar took a decision to this effect by considering the existing fear of pandemic coronavirus outbreak in the country. “As the fear of corona virus infection is on, a decision to suspend the flights was taken,” Bidari shared. Prior to this, the government had suspended all the international flights for 10 days till March 31.
