Evidence Bill re-endorsed

Kathmndu - The National Assembly has today unanimously re-endorsed the Evidence (Second Amendment) Bill, 2075 along with the amendment on it made by the House of Representatives. Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Shivamaya Tumbahamphe had presented a proposal in this connection in the National Assembly meeting.

 

Report presented In the meeting, Delegated Legislation and Government Assurances Committee president Ram Narayan Bidari presented the report titled 'Report on Interaction and Onsite Study Conducted in All Seven Provinces, 2076 BS'. Similarly, Legislation Management Committee president Parshuram Meghi Gurung presented the report of the committee on 'Nepal Special Service Bill, 2076 BS'.

 

Minister Tumbahamphe, on behalf of the Prime Minister, presented the 'Monitoring and Evaluation Bill, 2076 BS', and the 'Statistics Bill, 2076 BS' in the meeting. Meanwhile, the National Assembly secretary Rajendra Phuyal had informed the Assembly about the message received from the House of Representatives regarding the 'Palermo Protocol on United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime'. This protocol was passed by the National Assembly and sent to the House of Representatives along with a message before this. The National Assembly will next meet at 1.00pm on March 20.
