Proper use of human resources for industrial development: Minister Thapa

Kavre - Minister for Industry Sunil Bahadur Thapa has expressed wonder why the small industries were belittled in the name of promoting big industries in the country. 

Inaugurating a three-day seminar on small and cottage industries at Dhulikhel on Wednesday, Minister Thapa said, "Small and cottage industries are a backbone of nation's economy. So, proper use of human resources is essential in this sector." 

According to him, such programme helps exchange ideas and experiences, so that this sector could be further amplified. 

He expressed worry over low cost of Nepali products as raw materials to the foreign industries which impose high cost to the refined products. 

Chairman of the Committee Dipendra Acharya demanded that the State guaranteed the future of workers at small and cottage industries.
