Rishi Lila Memorial Journalism Award conferred on Chatyang Master

Pokhara - The Rishi Lila Memorial Journalism Award run by Pokhara Elderly Home has been conferred on journalist and litterateur Krishna Murari Gautam known as the Chatyang Master or Lightning Master.
The award carrying a purse of Rs 20,000 is in recognition of contribution in protecting the rights of the elderly citizens of the society.
Parliament's Development Committee Chairperson, Rabindra Adhikari, conferred the award on journalist Gautam.
The lawmaker also spoke of preparations underway for a constitutional provision to protect the rights of the elderly citizens. The journalist stressed on need for utilizing the capabilities of the senior citizens in country's development.
