Information Minister says electoral atmosphere now all – pervasive

Nawalparasi - Minister for Information and Communications, Mohan Bahadur Basnet, has spoken of the all – pervasive electoral atmosphere in the country. 

Speaking to journalists on Saturday evening at Bardaghat of Nawalparasi here, Minister Basnet added that the elections to the parliament and provincial assemblies will be held as per the schedule after the local polls in Province no 2. 

He noted that the country has now advanced into the federal state structure with the local level polls. 

In reference to the recent flooding in Tarai – based districts and the landslides triggered by heavy monsoon downpours, the Minister said efforts were underway to seek a quick passage of natural disaster management related crisis management act in the Parliament.
