NC's triumph for country's prosperity: Leader Rijal

Pokhara–Nepali Congress central member Dr Minendra Rijal has asked the people to cast their votes in the November 30 by-election for the sake of constitution and democracy.

NC's triumph in the by-poll is essential to make corrections in government's activities "against the constitution and democracy", he said at a door-to-door election campaign organised at Gharipatan in Pokhara-17 by the NC.

Rijal has been assigned as party central representative for the by-election for member of the House of Representatives for Kaski constituency 2. He said Khemraj Poudel's candidacy for the by-poll is for prosperity and development of the area.

Candidate Poudel pledged to work day and night for the development of the constituency. The campaign was attended by NC regional president Madhav Prasad Bastola and town president Bajir Man Shrestha among others.
