Government's priority to increase access of justice to marginalized community

Kathmandu–Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal has said that the government of Nepal has given high priority to the utilization of technology to increase access of financially poor people, backward and marginalized community to the justice.

Minister Dhakal is in the US in course of participating in a week-long programme related to Law, Justice and Development organised by World Bank Group at Washington DC in the US.

During the meeting with World Bank Group Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Sandie Okoro, Minister Dhakal urged the Senior Vice President to support in implementation of recently formulated fundamental rights and laws related to federalism.

According to the Nepali Embassy in Washington DC, Senior Vice President Okoro assured of visiting Nepal next year and providing necessary support in priority areas of law and justice determined by the government of Nepal.

Nepali Ambassador to the US, Arjun Kumar Karki and Joint-Secretary at the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Man Bahadur Aryal, were present on the occasion.
