Kanchanpur–Beldandi rural municipality of Kanchanpur is providing with free ambulance services to snakebite patients.
The municipal executive meeting on Wednesday took the decision to provide free ambulance service to take the snakebite patients of the rural municipality to health facility.
"We took the decision of providing free ambulance service with the rise in the death incidents of snakebite patients in want of timely treatment", shared Dhan Bahadur Thapa, chairperson of Beldandi rural municipality.
He further said the initiative would help save the lives of snakebite patents. In lack of health facility in providing treatment services to snakebite patients, there is compulsion for the local people to go far for treatment.
