Former MP Dahal dies

Kathmandu–Former member of parliament Hari Bairagee Dahal passed away today. He was 62. Dahal was elected lawmaker from the Sankhuwasabha constituency- 2 during the 2051's (1994) mid-term election from the then Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist Leninist). He has also an identity as the campaigner for promoting small hydropower projects.

He had been suffering from 'cholesterol', said his family member Yogendra Bijay Dahal. He breathed his last this morning at Manamohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center, Maharajgunj.

He was born on November 13, 1957 to Phalgukumari and Yagyaratna Dahal at Madi rural municipality-5 in Sankhuwasabha. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and one son.
