Yeti aircraft skids off TIA runway

Kathmandu–An aircraft of Yeti Airlines has skidded off the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) runway at 11:45 am today.

It is stated that the incident occurred when it was preparing to land at the TIA. According to Aircraft Company, passengers and crew members are safe.

The plane which had flown from Nepalgunj was carrying 66 passengers, narrowly escaped the accident. With this the TIA has been closed following the incident.

TIA general manager Raj Kumar Chhetri informed that they were making efforts to drag the aircraft towards the hangar to resume the flights.
